In general, my likes are: 

Fluff and schmoop, angst with a small ray of hope, hurt/comfort, pining, mutually beneficial one-night-stands. I also like stories that explore similarities (either in experiences or in personalities) between the people in the relationship, and stories that explore differences between the two people in the relationship, and how those differences complement each other. Nerd love is always great (if the ship lends itself to that). Humor is always a plus, particularly in first-time smut stories if things are a bit awkward at first. I love AUs, especially ones that result from some small change in canon. 

My squicks and general do-not-wants are: Rape, non-con, watersports, humiliation, hatesex, A/B/O, non-canonical character death of requested characters, sex involving anyone under the age of 16.
